The game begins with the player placing his wager on the table. The dealer then deals the cards in the following sequence. The first card is dealt face up to the player, the next card is dealt face up to the dealer, the third card is dealt face up to the player and the last card is dealt face down to the dealer. The player’s moves are constrained by the following blackjack rules. The player can double on any two cards and can even double after a split. The player can split three times so as to make four hands. However, aces can be split only once and only one card can be dealt to split aces.
A split ace and 10 value card counts as a total of 21 and not as a blackjack. Some online casinos allow players to split unlike 10 value cards. However this is not desirable since a total of 20 is considered a very strong hand. If the player busts anytime he immediately loses his wager.
